The Name
The name Borikén (boh-ree-KEN) comes from the Taíno: the Indigenous people of Puerto Rico, who called their island home long before it appeared on any map. The Taíno built a culture centered on community, stewardship, and the protection of their people. We carry that name as a reflection of where this firm comes from and what it stands for: serious work, done with purpose, in service of the people and organizations that depend on us.
